Thanks Randy. Yep, I tend to go on too long in this blog and on my podcasts. The main reason probably is that I like to talk about topics that interest me, and for these, I just seem to keep on going.
But in the case of this blog, and specifically the About page, I believe a second dynamic informs this “going on too long”. That dynamic concerns the topic. Essentially the topic — “the money has gone too far” — is one that, I believe, conflicts with most all conventional beliefs — conscious and unconscious — in America. As such, I find that the only people who seem to “get” what I write and say on the topic and who find these useful are people who are already suspecting that the money has gone too far. For such people, this site, including the About page, simply provides them with more food for thought.
But for the vast majority of people who are not already on this train of thinking, I struggle to find a way to talk about the topic that would allow them to understand, let alone to interest them. Hopefully, one day soon, I’ll be able to find the short, pithy, clear way to explain the “Duck! and Gather” view point.

Duck! and Gather

I’ve read the about page after visiting and so I don’t have the benefit of having seen the previous version – although not having seen it may actually be the benefit. it still does not seem direct and clear to me – but maybe I’m just thick. You take way too long to say anything and maybe that’s just your way ot talking to someone but your message gets lost in the debris. Talk to ya soon.
